Do I need the Newborn Insert Cushion if I have the Edwards & Co Carry Cot?

If you have an Edwards & Co Carry Cot, it is unlikely you will also need the Newborn Insert Cushion. 

The seat of the Oscar Mx is a bucket seat that doesn’t provide a flat sleeping position for a baby and therefore cannot be used for a newborn.  By using the Newborn Insert Cushion, which is designed to convert the seat unit easily and safely into a suitable and approved sleeping position for a newborn, you are able to use the seat unit for your new baby.  It’s important to understand that if you are using the seat unit for your new baby, you must also be using the Newborn Insert Cushion.

The Carry Cot provides a flat sleeping environment for your baby.  It is also a convenient option as you can remove it from the stroller and place it inside at your destination while your baby is sleeping.  If you have the Carry Cot, you will use this to transport your new baby in the stroller and therefore won’t have the need to use the seat unit and Newborn Insert Cushion.

In this case, once your baby has outgrown the Carry Cot, they will then graduate straight into the seat unit.
