Can the Edwards & Co Capsule & Base be used in Australia?

Child restraints are manufactured to different safety standards, and each of these is allowed to be used in various geographic territories. 

Our capsule & base is manufactured to the European standard (ECE R44). 

This standard is approved for use in Europe, New Zealand and other countries that allow European standard restraints. 

Australia allows the use of child restraints which are manufactured to AS/NZS 1754.  As ours is not manufactured to this standard, it cannot be used in Australia.
